ABOUT
Charlene Wang is a cinematographer from Taipei, Taiwan. In her work, she often draws on Taipei's urban spectacle, evocative colors and vibrant nightscape to inspire her intimate and cinematic visual style.
Charlene has worked at Pixar Animation Studios as a CG Camera Technical Director for Academy Award-winning feature films "Toy Story 3" and “Brave."
Her award-winning narrative work has also been recognized by the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC), the Director's Guild of America (DGA), and at prestigious film festivals around the world.
Charlene received her MFA from USC School of Cinematic Arts in cinematography & directing. She received her BA from Smith College in Northampton, MA.
She is currently based in Taipei and Los Angeles.
